How to dry tobacco?
By BAIXIN flowers and leaves dehydrator
Ingredients:
Tobacco
Directions :
01
Tobacco is the raw material of the tobacco industry. The Baixin tobacco dryer can be divided into multiple stages to dry fresh tobacco at medium and low temperatures, which can better dry the tobacco. Dried tobacco will not change any of its nutritional value. The aroma of tobacco is preserved and the taste is better.
02
Tobacco leaf drying is a continuous process. In order to facilitate the operation of the drying process, the drying process is divided into three stages according to the difference in characteristics before and after the change process of the tobacco leaf and the different requirements for industrial conditions during the change process of the tobacco leaf.
03
Color change Period: At this stage, lower temperature, higher humidity, less ventilation and longer time should be adopted. The main yellowing temperature of tobacco leaves should be controlled at 35℃-38℃, so that the tobacco leaves will reach 70%-80% yellow and the leaves will be soft. Then the temperature is controlled below 40℃-42℃, and the humidity is changed to 40%, so that the tobacco leaves are basically all yellow.
04
Color fixing Period: In this stage, in order to ensure that the tobacco leaves are dry, fully yellowed and form aroma substances, higher temperature, lower humidity, and greater ventilation should be adopted. The color fixation stage ensures that the tobacco leaves completely turn yellow and fix the color smoothly. Change the temperature to 54°C and the humidity to 40% to promote the formation of more aroma substances in tobacco leaves.
05
Drying stem period: At this stage, it is necessary to further increase the temperature and reduce the humidity to achieve the purpose of dry stems. During the stem-drying stage, the temperature should be controlled at 65°C-68°C and the humidity should be 5% to improve the color and chromaticity of the tobacco leaves, and at the same time reduce the volatilization and loss of the aroma substances of the tobacco leaves. The humidity of the tobacco will dry to 8%. Then the drying process is complete.
