How to dry peach?

The peach fruit is juicy and can be eaten directly or made into dried peaches, canned, etc. The flesh of peaches is white and yellow, and a few are red. Yellow peaches are typical peaches. Baixin peach dryer can be divided into multiple stages to dry peaches at medium temperature, which can better maintain the nutritional value and fragrance of peaches and extend the storage time of peaches.

Pick and wash peaches: Pick out damaged and immature fruits. Clean the silt and peach hair on the surface of the peach. Use a professional peach cleaning machine to improve efficiency.

Cut the peach in half and remove the pit: Cut the peach in half and remove the core. Using a professional peach corer and slicer, the effect is good and the speed is fast.

Peel the peaches and blanch them: Use a peeling agent to peel. Put the peeled peach slices in steam for 5 minutes, or blanch them in boiling water for 5-10 minutes, mainly to prevent the peaches from discoloring during drying.

Drying: Put it into the Baixin dehydrator, set the target temperature to 55~60 degrees, and the humidity to 10%. The drying time is 14 hours.

Different thickness of peach slices will have different dehydration times, the thinner, the shorter the dehydration time. Dried peach slices will regain moisture when in direct contact with air, so they need to be sealed and packaged. If you use vacuum packaging, you can better preserve the color and aroma of peaches.
