How to dry pea?

Peas are green beans and can be used as a vegetable or snack. Baixin pea dryer can be divided into multiple stages to dry fresh pea at medium and low temperature to make the pea dry better. Dried peas will not change any of their nutritional value. The scent of peas is preserved and the taste is better.

Remove the debris in the peas, and then clean it with a dish washer to remove the sand, dust and organic matter attached to the surface.

Blanching: The function of cooking is to kill soil microorganisms on the soybean surface and prevent enzyme damage during storage.

Put the peas on the tray of the dehydrator. Set the temperature to 52 degrees and dehydrate for 5 to 13 hours until the peas are crispy. If you use a mesh belt dryer, it can realize automatic feeding, and the drying time is 2-5 hours.

The shelled peas will wrinkle and harden after they are completely dried. When strong pressure is applied to the peas, the peas will shatter.

Dry peas will regain moisture when they come into direct contact with air, so they need to be sealed and packaged. If you use vacuum packaging, you can better preserve the color and fragrance of the pea chips.
