How to dry orange?

Oranges are a very common fruit, rich in vitamins, and are often used to make juices and condiments. The Baixin orange dryer can be divided into multiple stages to dry fresh oranges at low and medium temperatures, so that the orange drying effect is better. Dried oranges will not change any of their nutritional value. The scent of orange is preserved, and the taste is better.

Choose some high-quality oranges, clean them, and cut them evenly into slices of about 2 mm. If you need to peel it, you need to peel it before slicing.

Put the orange slices on the tray, keeping a small distance from each other.

Put it into a Baixin dryer and set the target temperature to 60°C and humidity to 5%.

The drying time is 3~6 hours, and the drying process is completed.

Different orange slice thickness will have different dehydration time, the thinner, the shorter the dehydration time. Dried orange slices will regain moisture when in direct contact with air, so they need to be sealed and packaged. If you use vacuum packaging, you can better preserve the color and fragrance of the orange slices.
